These are the most comfortable boots I've put on. Broke in within the first day. I cannot comment on durability as i've only have them for about 1 month, but they feel very well made.
I absolutely love these boots. They are super comfortable and stylish!
The best boots I have ever purchased. Durable, sustainable, and stylish!
Third pair of oliberte. Great transition to a more durable boot, with the same look and feel. This is the only boot I will ever wear!
Perfect fit, good leather, beautiful design and fast shipping. A+++
My second pair of shoes from oliberte and my favorite ones! Only one suggestion: half-sizes, if possible!
Very comfortable straight out of the box. This will be my go to boots for the fall/ winter season. I don’t go hiking but I do travel to different concrete jungles on my days off . If SHTF or if there is a zombie apocalypse, this is the only footwear I will have plus my high top hiking shoes.
It was comfortable straight out of the box. I think made in USA is overrated and over priced. Never doubt Canadian craftsmanship, quality is second to none. This is now my go to boots for fall/winter. I will love this pair for years to come. The Logan was my first choice but my budget was for the Dawson. In due time, I will own both.
I had been looking at these ever since they moved to Canada. I was curious about the quality of the shoe since they were charging so much but now it makes sense. I've had three pairs of Oliberte's over the last 5 years. The first pair I bought blew me away. I wore them every day for two years straight and the only thing that needed replacing was the toe portion of the sole. The second pair I bought had some serious quality issues (the glue that held the sole together came undone which resulted in the sole itself coming away from the shoe.) Which I dealt with for a little over a year until it finally broke my patience. I love the mission of the company and want to support so hearing that they were moving to Canada and really focusing on quality caught my attention. Granted, I'm only a month into the shoe but so far I can't see where they cut corners on production. The sole is stitched on, the leather is durable, the fit is comfortable (once you've worn them a couple of times with thick socks). If you're looking for a nice, casual leather boot that carries a handmade quality (markings on the inside of the leather are a nice touch) while supporting one of the first B corps, then look no further. These boots should last a lifetime and if they don't I just hope Oliberte sticks around long enough for me to buy another pair.
Bought Dawson's from Canada, similar to Lallo's from Ethiopia. The present shoes are made with thicker leather and better soles. I'm hoping they soften up like the Lallo's. The increase in price hopefully goes to the workers in Canada. I paid $104 for the Lallo's and now $168 for the Dawson's on sale.
